What is the Pokémon Game Creator?

Pokémon Game Creator is a fan-made game that allows users to create their own small Pokémon games. It was created and published by Barvix Inc and has no affiliation with or endorsement from Nintendo.

Pokémon Game Creator allows users to place up to 35 different types of tiles, as well as characters in their game world. Created games also have a function for saving and loading. The game was created by Christopher Judkins, who has gone on to release more advanced versions with greater functionality that he calls Pokémon Game Maker, or PGM. As of January 2015, the most recent version is PGM3.
