What province in the Philippines is Makati City located in?

Makati City is located in the area referred to as Metro Manila, which is referred to as the National Capital Region by the people who live in the Philippines. Metro Manila is made up of seven cities and nine towns.

The cities all started out as individual areas, but as they grew and spread out, they merged into the one regional area. The area has over 11 million people living in it between all of the cities that make up the area. Makati City itself can have over a million people in it per day due to people coming into the city to work and shop, though only about half that actually live there.
