There are several public parks in Venice, Florida, ranging from small parks to huge expanses with walking and biking trails. There are even a couple that are dog-friendly, Paw Park at Brohard Park Beach and Venetian Waterway Park.
Hecksher Park and Pinebrook Park have tennis and basketball courts, and Wellfield Park has football, soccer, softball and baseball fields, batting cages, and disk golf. There are boat ramps at Higel Park and Marina Park, and Higel Park also has a canoe and kayak launch. There are extensive walking trails at Heritage Park, Venetian Waterway Park, Venice Myakka River Park and Pinebrook Park.
