What do you put at the head of a letter?
By Forinfos - 20/03/2025 - 0 comments
The letter sender's name and address, date, letter recipient's name and address, and salutation are all put at the head of a letter before beginning the body. The date format includes the day, month and year and corresponds to the day the letter was sent.
A 1- or 2-inch margin is left between the top of the paper and the letter sender's name and address. All of the information in the head of the letter is left justified with at least one empty line between each piece of information. An appropriate salutation for a formal business letter begins with "Dear," uses the letter recipient's title and family name, and ends with a comma or colon.
