How do you remove a smoke smell from a microwave oven?

To remove the smell of smoke from a microwave oven, place a bowl of diluted vinegar in the microwave, and heat it for 5 minutes. Using a damp paper towel, wipe down the insides of the microwave. Open a box of baking soda, and leave it inside the microwave overnight.

1. Create a diluted vinegar mixture

   Mix a half cup of water and a tablespoon of white vinegar in a microwave-safe bowl.

2. Heat the mixture

   Place the bowl inside the microwave, and heat it for 5 minutes. Leave the bowl to steam inside the microwave for 10 to 15 minutes.

3. Wipe down the microwave

   Use a damp paper towel to wipe down the inside of the microwave, including the microwave door.

4. Leave baking soda in the microwave overnight

   Open a box of baking soda, and leave it inside the microwave overnight.
