What is the Rigby Literacy series?

The Rigby Literacy series is a collection of 12 books designed to improve the reading skills of middle primary and upper primary students. It is published by Pearson Australia.

The series is comprised of 12 anthologies and 60 guided reading books, both fiction and non-fiction. There are also teacher resource books and blackline master books. Each guided reading book includes two lesson plans that adhere to developmentally appropriate skills and strategies. As the series progresses, the books make use of levelled texts and graduated word counts to continually challenge students. Each course is supported by an online community of educators.
