What is the size of an Arctic wolf?
By Forinfos - 26/05/2026 - 0 comments
Arctic wolves range from 24 to 36 inches in length and weigh from 55 to 88 pounds. They have a lifespan of 7 to 10 years.
Arctic wolves live in Northern Canada, Alaska, Greenland, Iceland and Northern Europe. They are carnivores that eat lemmings, rodents, hares and caribou. Arctic wolves are white with brown irises. The white fur camouflages them, and the brown irises protect their eyes. They are smaller than gray wolves, and males are larger than females. Pups are born in May and June in litters of two or three. Only the alpha male and the females breed in a pack.
