What is the Southwestern College Blackboard?

The Southwestern College Blackboard is an online learning portal that allows students to take classes online and through a hybrid learning portal. To access the site, users must have a user name and password that is approved by the college. Most classes are transferable to a four-year university.

Classes that are taught through the Blackboard portal are accessible only by enrolled students and faculty. Some professors may use exterior websites for some classes and are required to inform students of the new website location. Hybrid classes take place online but may require students to attend some classes and seminars on-site at Southwestern College's campus.
