Several stock market charts offered by financial websites such as CNBC.com and Bloomberg.com provide live price quotes during the course of the trading day. Most major market indexes close at 4:30 p.m. Eastern time, but several stocks such as Apple, Amazon and Microsoft trade after hours, as stated by CNBC.

CNBC and Bloomberg provide real-time quotes during regular trading hours. The quotes include the day?s high, low and current prices along with the amount of shares that traded during regular and after-hours trading, according to each company. Using the stock charts, investors can access company profiles, press releases and any information that affects the financial health of a company, as of 2015.
