TV Patrol in southern Mindanao has received two Ateneo de Davao University Tao Awards. The channel has received "favorite local news anchor" for Stephen Manangan and "favorite local television newscasts" for the channel overall.

TV Patrol World's segment "Citizen Patrol" won the Award for Excellence in the Philippine Gold Quill Awards and Honorable Mention in the Asia Pacific PR Awards. The show is known historically for when it broke martial law during a period of media silence in the Philippines to bring news to the people at the risk of itself. The show has been going for more than 20 years, and plans to continue thriving as of 2015.
