By Forinfos - 12/06/2025 - 0 comments
According to the energy guide statement, a GE 5-cubic-foot high-efficiency top-load washer's estimated annual cost to run is $18, while a similarly sized Maytag Bravos Xl 4.5-cubic-foot high-efficiency top-load washer has an estimated annual cost of $16. The cost may vary depending on the model.
GE's washing machine has a feature called eMonitor that gives insight on the efficiency level of each load by giving the user an electronic readout after each load. Maytag's washing machine boasts a recirculation system with a pump that redistributes detergent and water from the bottom of the washer to the top for a more efficient clean.
