Martin Kaymer came in at 9 under par to win the 2014 U.S. Open. In second place, Erik Compton tied with Rickie Fowler at 1 under par.

The purse for the 2014 U.S. Open was $9 million. Because Kaymer won the event, he took home the largest share of the purse, walking away with $1.62 million. Compton and Fowler both earned $789,330 for tying in second place.

Rounding out the top 10 in the event were Keegan Bradley, Jason Daly, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Henrik Stenson, Adam Scott and Jimmy Walker. Of these players, six Americans took home their shares of the purse.
