Where do werewolves live?

Werewolves are mythological creatures that live in heavily wooded areas, far away from the general population. According to folklore, they prefer areas facing the equator.

Werewolves are humans who are able to transform into large wolves during each full moon. People become werewolves either by being bitten or scratched by another werewolf or by being placed under a curse.

According to many legends, after becoming a werewolf, a person will leave home and move in with a pack. They prefer to live away from people so their kind is not discovered and so they don't pose a threat to humans.
