The white mastiff originated in the central region of Argentina. It is a cross of 10 breeds, including an Argentinian breed that is now extinct. The white mastiff was bred to be a working dog and large game hunter, and it has an athletic build and friendly personality. The white mastiff is known for its short all-white coat; however, it sometimes has a dark patch near the eye. It is a clean dog that requires little coat care.
