Rabbi Harold S. Kushner is the author of "When Bad Things Happen to Good People." It was originally published in 1981 after Rabbi Kushner’s young son died from a degenerative disease. The most current edition of the book was released in 2004.
"When Bad Things Happen to Good People" offers advice about how to handle the doubts, fears and anger that arise during tragic circumstances. In this best-selling book, Rabbi Kushner offers consolation in times of sorrow. Some of his other books include "The Lord Is My Shepherd," "How Good Do We Have to Be?" and "Living a Life That Matters."
