Where can you go to adopt pets in Pennsylvania?

Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, Home at Last Dog Rescue, Animal Rescue League of Western Pennsylvania and the Furry Friends Network all offer pet adoptions in various locations throughout Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals also features animals for adoption.

Pennsylvania SPCA has three different locations in the state to visit: Philadelphia, Fishtown and Danville. Cats and dogs are commonly adopted pets at the Philadelphia and Fishtown SPCA locations. Danville offers farm species for adoption, including horses, ponies, goats, cows and pigs. All pets are spayed or neutered before adoption and receive a microchip, ID tag and vaccines.
