Where can you find the minimum age for getting a Georgia DNR hunting license?
By Forinfos - 23/10/2025 - 0 comments
The minimum age for getting a Georgia Department of Natural Resources hunting license is 16 years old. Hunters younger than 16 must hunt with an adult, and the adult must hold a special adult/child hunting license.
As of March 2015, the annual fees for licenses, which can be purchased via a License Agent or online, range from $5 to $55, depending the type of animal or fish being hunted. Three-day licenses are also available for certain game. The main seasons for hunting are deer, bear, quail, waterfowl and turkey. The hunting season dates are listed on the Department of Natural Resource website.
