How do you change a Gmail password?

To change your Gmail password, sign in to Gmail, and then click on the cog located in the top right corner of the page. Click Settings, Accounts and then Change Password to open the Change Password dialog box. Enter your current and new passwords, and then click Change Password.

  1. Sign in to Gmail

    Go to the Gmail home page, enter your email address and password, and then press Sign in.

  2. Choose settings

    Click on the cog icon located in the top right-hand corner of the Gmail screen. Click Settings, Accounts and then Change Password.

  3. Change the password

    In the Change Your Password dialog box, type in your current password, new password, confirm the new password and then click the Change Password button.
