How do you change a Twitter password?

To change your password on Twitter, log into your Twitter account, and navigate to the password section of your account. Enter your current password, and then enter your new password.

1. Log into your Twitter account

   Open your web browser, and enter "Twitter.com" into the address bar. Click the Sign in button. Enter your current username and password. Click Log in.

2. Open your account settings

   Click on your profile in the upper-right corner of the website. Select Settings from the bottom of the drop-down list. A new window appears with account settings options on the left side of the screen.

3. Open the password settings

   Click on the Password option in the left navigation bar. An interface that allows you to change or recover your password appears.

4. Enter your current password

   Type in your current password in the corresponding text box. If your password was stored on your web browser and you forgot your password, click the Forgot your password? link. Enter your email address, phone number or Twitter handle when prompted. Access your email, and click the link provided in the email from Twitter.

5. Change your password

   Enter in your new password in the corresponding text box. Enter it again in the confirmation text box. Click the Save changes button
