How do you clean Venetian blinds?

Clean Venetian blinds by dusting them with a feather duster or a soft dry cloth. Clean dirt marks or grease stains with a damp cloth, window cleaner or all-purpose cleaner. Occasionally, deep clean the blinds by soaking them in a water and all-purpose cleaner mixture, then brush trouble spots gently.
- Dust the slats
Clean each slat one at a time by running the duster over them. Alternatively, use an old sock or other clean dry cloth to wipe down each slat. Carefully dust between the cords to ensure that you hit every area of the blinds.
- Clean dirt marks and grease stains
Dampen a clean cloth, and wipe down any dirt spots that regular dusting does not pull up. If the stains still appear, spray a little window cleaner on the cloth, and then rub off the stain. Alternatively, spray an all-purpose cleaner on the cloth for tougher stains.
- Deep clean the blinds
Remove the blinds from the window, and place them in a clean bathtub. Fill the tub with water until the blinds are covered, and mix in a little all-purpose cleaner. Let the binds soak for a while. If you still see stains, brush them with a soft cleaning brush gently until you no longer see them.
