In 2014, Chinese New Year was on January 31. The Chinese New Year Festival, also known as Chinese Spring Festival, lasts for several weeks. It is usually celebrated from the 23rd day of the final month of the year until the 15th of the first month. The festival has been celebrated in China for more than 4,000 years.
