Jamie McMurray is the NASCAR driver who won the Daytona 500 while leading the fewest laps during the race. This happened in 2010, when McMurray led for only two laps before pulling ahead in the end to win the Daytona 500.
During this race, McMurray passed lap leader Kevin Harvick for the last two laps. McMurray narrowly outpaced fellow driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. on the last turn to secure the victory. This particular race was delayed for over 2 hours before the 78th lap so crews could repair a dangerous pothole that appeared in the track.
