What is Evernote?

Evernote is a computer software designed for digital notetaking and storage. Notes can be made with Web pages, photographs, voice memos or original typed documents. The software sorts, tags, edits and organizes notes to increase efficiency.

As of 2014, Evernote is available as a downloadable computer program as well as a free app for both iPhone and Android devices. The program stores documents such as boarding passes, receipts, interesting articles, pictures and even to-do lists in one convenient location that can be accessed from multiple devices. Users organize their documents in separate "notebooks" and have instant digital access to their stored information.
