What kind of glue should I use on broken ceramics?

Polyvinyl acetate is the best glue to use to mend broken ceramic. Polyvinyl glue goes on white and dries clear. This type of glue does not dry as quickly as quick-setting glue, which makes it easier to place pieces of ceramics back together properly.
Polyvinyl glue also wipes off easily, so it does not ruin the outside of the ceramic. The best way to glue ceramics back together is by applying glue with a brush. Use only as much glue as needed because using too much glue can cause the repair to look crooked or make it difficult for the broken piece to fit properly.
