How large is a full-grown corn snake?

A full-grown corn snake is between 30 and 48 inches long. The largest on record was 6 feet long. Corn snakes are native to North America and are found from New Jersey to the Florida Keys, west to New Orleans and north to the Memphis, Tenn. area.

The corn snake is non-venomous and is indeed beneficial because it eats rats and other vermin. It is docile enough to be kept as a pet and is one of the few snakes that can climb trees. It can be identified by the blotches on its back and sides that range in color from red-brown to brilliant red on a gray, brown or reddish ground color.
