Where do most people in Japan live?

As of 2009, most people in Japan live in Tokyo, a city that has a population of 36.507 million, according to the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency World Factbook. The estimated population of Japan for July 2014 is 127,103,388.

The other Japanese cities also densely populated, as of 2009, are Osaka-Kobe with 11.325 million, Nagoya with 3.257 million, Fukuoka-Kitakyushu with 2.809 million and Sapporo with 2.673 million. Japan is a world leader in producing high-tech electronics. The country is one of the top producers of televisions, computers, cameras and audio equipment. Japan has agriculture and fishing, and rice and fish are two of its main staples.
