Where should you place a Buddha statue?

If placed in the garden, they should be put on a slab of rock or marble that is solid rather than unstable. In the home, it is important they be above eye level, so that no one is looking down on them, as Buddhas are a figure of respect.

Feng shui dictates that Buddha statues be placed away from the direct line of any strong air flow, such as a window or air conditioner. They should also be placed in a pleasant-smelling environment since the idea is that a deity lives within the statue.
