Boosterthon Fun Runs raise money for elementary schools. Representatives from Boosterthon coordinate with PTO/PTA representatives to arrange the run, and each school uses the money raised at its own discretion.

Any school interested in raising money with a Boosterthon Fun Run must apply for the chance to hold a run at its location. The complete Boosterthon Fun Run program takes place over nine days: a starting pep rally, six "Team Huddle Days" and the actual Fun Run day. Children collect pledges of a specific amount per lap or a flat donation and then run up to 35 laps on race day.
