Daymond John is divorced, as of 2015. John founded the clothing line FUBU and is an investor on the ABC reality television show "Shark Tank."

Daymond John began his clothing line in Queens in 1992 by making tie-top hats for his friends. He and his mother mortgaged their home and used the money as start-up capital to fund the business. Help from LL Cool J and Run-D.M.C., also former Queens residents, launched the business, making it a $350 million company by 1998. John first appeared on Mark Burnett's show "Shark Tank" in 2009 and has made many profitable investments. John has two daughters and lives in New York and Miami.
