The Samsung Galaxy Note was first introduced at the IFA exhibition in 2011 and released on October 29, 2011 in Germany and in February of 2012 for North America. The Galaxy Note features a 1.4 gigahertz dual core ARM Cortex A9 and a 5.29 inch Super AMOLED HD display.
The Galaxy Note has 1 gigabyte of RAM and 16 or 32 gigabytes of internal storage, depending on the model. Its main camera has an 8-megapixel sensor capable of recording full HD video. The Samsung Galaxy Note became referred to as a "phablet" due to its size, which is between the average phone and tablet sizes at the time of its release.
