There is no need to do anything with the Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony form as long as you can be at the scheduled ceremony, according to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. If you need to request a different ceremony date, you must send the form to a USCIS office.
If you plan to attend the scheduled event, place the form in a safe place. Missing the ceremony, even accidentally, can cause problems with your naturalization application, explains U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Before returning the Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony form, write a letter to ask for a new date and time, and include a reason for the request. You should send the letter and the form to the nearest U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services branch.
